Snooker is played with 15 reds and 6 colors on a large table. You alternate a red and a color; the colors return to their spots while reds remain. The player with more points in the frame wins.

- Alternating. Pot a red (1 point), then a color of your choice (2–7 points).
- Re-spotting. The colors return to their spots as long as reds remain on the table.
- Endgame. With no reds left, the colors are potted in order — from yellow to black.
- Points. A foul gives your opponent at least 4 points (or the value of the ball involved, if higher); the player with more points wins.
